Guys honestly, this is pathetic, Don’t follow this, this is like cardio with strain, if you actually want to build abdominal muscle and want a six pack, stick to crunches, and bicycle crunches, and if you feel like those are to easy hold weight behind your head and do the same, trust me, as an experienced teenage bodybuilder, all I do is crunches and bicycles and its truly the right way to get abs, but thats not all! You MUST EAT RIGHT you are not going to lose weight with poor nutrition.

definitely need to recover. Abs are a muscle. These strengthen them, however, if you have already on top of them, you need to lose weight off em.

you are right in …
you are right in that it burns fat, however if you over train any muscle group your muscle starts to deteriorate, which would result in less than stellar abs. you might get rid of some of the fat but you still want the muscle to be defined.

bliss I don’t know if abs must recover. I think this exercise is fat burning and not muscle building one. What I’m trying to say is that muscle must recover when you wan’t to build your muscle and not when you burn fat one them. Excuse me if I’m wrong.

I can be happy to …
I can be happy to have 6 pack from the start but this exercise did define my abs a bit more and sometimes even a bit of 8 pack comes out =) but now i started to drink protein shakes and I’m a bit afraid to loose my abs even though I drink 1 protein shake instead of 3 as it was said to me. I’ll probably have to do this exercise twice a day + running and stuff at the gym. I hope that’ll work and that I’ll keep my abs =P

you’re young all you can do for now is exercise them when you’re about 16 muscle starts to grow much faster, also having a good diet with high protein levels (not to high, only about 1g to 1.5g of protein for each kg of your weight)
